So the last thing I successfully ironed is my hair!… literally! But the thought of pulling out the iron and ironing board and then attempting to eliminate wrinkles without creating new ones is too much for what remains of my sanity.
Luckily I don’t own many articles of clothing that require pressing. I work from home and when my job requires public appearances I have items that don’t require pressing. My husband is a tug boat captain, so no need there. However the cotton shirts that we don’t remove from the dryer IMMEDIATELY can still be saved without resorting to re-laundering or the good ‘ol “wet washcloth in the dryer trick”.
I find throwing a shirt or pair of pants on a hanger, or laying them on the bed, pulling a spray trigger filled with the Magical Formula in Downy Wrinkle Release and a few tugs and pulls a much better alternative to ironing…shoot…it’s not even in the same category!
Oh and not to mention, it smells good too!
